Thanks to the relentlessness of our research and development team, we found yet another way to formulate quite possibly the most explosive benchmark balls in recent history. Engineered to create more overall torque and pure projectile power than all the low RG symmetrical ball before it, the TNT is here to blow up racks and take names. From the Torque Sphere Technology inside the Torpex Core to the introduction of the eTrax™ PLUS solid coverstock, it’s a high probability this ball will have your opponent’s taking cover and calling the bomb squad for help.

BEHIND THE DESIGN:
Cover –
eTrax PLUS Solid Reactive = We have never used this in the solid form before…This cover is overall stronger than original eTrax in terms of traction and response, but it’s not as early and aggressive as say MicroTrax or XtremeTrax…
Core –
Torpex Core = New Core Technology featuring Torque Sphere Technology (Like a power ball)…. Something we haven’t used since 2014 in the Unhinged & Hysteria…. The Torque Sphere will create a different type of continuation down lane since it is placed just above the inner equator. Not to mention this is now the lowest RG symmetrical part Roto Grip has in the line.
Where It Fits –
Designed to be the “Benchmark Ball” everyone needs… best example is like the old original IDOL, only better due the cover not being as early. There will be traction in oil along with the continuation down lane no matter the number of revolutions.

TNT is dynamite!
Roto Grip TNT - HP3 Coverstock: eTrax+ Solid - 2000 grit Abralon Core: Torpex RG: 2.47 Differential: .052 (15 lbs) Layout: 5 x 4 ¾ x 2 ½ PAP: 6" Right, 1 3/8" Up Axis Tilt: 16° Rotation: 51° Rev Rate: 450-500 Speed: 17-18 mph Location: Vista Lanes - Yorkville, NY Pattern: Kegel Stone Street Video Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqhErXUJB9w&t=12s TNT is dynamite with the Torpex core and eTrax PLUS solid coverstock. The torque sphere within the core creates a lower RG and higher differential which translates to more overall motion and less deflection through the pins. eTrax+ is cleaner than MicroTrax, but more aggressive than eTrax. The design intent was for the TNT to be a benchmark ball on medium to heavy patterns, much like the original Idol. The TNT gave me a good look to the pocket on the house pattern looking 15-16 at the arrows with my breakpoint around 7-8. As the lanes broke down I was able to move left, but not open my angles as the ball either overreacted off the friction or struggled to make the turn down lane. I expect the TNT to be an excellent ball on flatter, higher volume patterns because it is early, smooth, and predictable. It will slot below the Roto Grip Gem or 900 Global Realty and above the Roto Grip Idol Cosmos or Storm Phaze II. If you are looking for a ball that starts up early, but still provides great continuation, the TNT hits the mark! Stop by your local Storm VIP pro shop to check it out! Available on February 17th.
