SMOOTH. PREDICTABLE. DEADLY.

Hammer is always looking at adding balls to the line to fill gaps and make it the game’s most versatile and complete line. Low flare cores have been a staple for Hammer, and currently, the Envy Tour balls are extremely popular, but we haven’t had a symmetric low flare in a while. We are excited to add the Scorpion Low Flare to the lineup. Removing the flip puck from the LED 3.0 core found inside the Scorpion Sting lowered the differential and flare potential, making this ball a perfect fit for Hammer. The Scorpion Low Flare will be a smooth and predictable ball motion, driven by the core numbers and the Semtex Hybrid cover, finished at 2000 Siaair. All styles will love the Scorpion Low Flare; higher rev rates will use it on anything, and lower rev rate players will find it useful on tricky conditions, and when the lanes are transitioning, either way, you won’t want to show up to bowling without one.

    Hammer Scorpion Low Flare review!

Posted by James G on Apr 5th 2024

I drilled the Hammer Scorpion Low Flare 4.5” x 30 to be a medium response hybrid symmetric, mildly strong through the mid-lane with a little kick, and it performs perfectly. Removing the flip puck from the LED 3.0 core found inside the Scorpion Sting lowered the differential and flare potential, making this ball a perfect fit for Hammer. I have had tremendous success on our 42’ THS, I am able to play in the oil cutting of my angles, and the Scorpion Low Flare can still get the corner pins out. The hybrid cover gives me the best of both worlds, enough length to play straighter, with traction when I need recovery. When you need to open the lane up and create more shape, the Scorpion Low Flare has you covered. A very versatile piece of equipment, this is one I have been looking for all season long. I used it on a 6:1 39 ft. challenge pattern and whacked them for a four-game block, then went to Aalborg 35’ and had even more success. You can order the Hammer Scorpion Low Flare now from Bowler Builders Pro Shop, and pro shops everywhere. Nothing hits like a Hammer!!

    Benchmark!

Posted by David Varner on Apr 2nd 2024

Don’t sleep on the Hammer Scorpion low flare! With all the excitement over the black widow 3.0 don’t look past this scorpion low flare. This is gonna be a great controllable ball for flatter and shorter patterns. This ball reminds me a lot of the web tour from a few years ago which many people loved. If you need a ball to compliment the envy tour later in the night or on shorter patterns I would highly recommend putting holes in one of these. I’ve used this ball on a wide variety of patterns and it seems to always fine a way to control the pocket

    Hammer Scorpion Low Flare

The Scorpion Low Flare is controllable, predictable, versatile, comes back from everywhere with the right angle. This ball will fit many bowling styles and should be a must have ball for league and tournament bowlers. I have never had a Hammer Scorpion ball before. I drilled this because I was interested in the low flare part of it. I thought this might be a true mid level roll and control ball for me. It has been exactly that. The Semtex Hybrid cover with the core combo allows for strong arc but more importantly, it allows for control and predictability.

    Scorpion Low Flare

I drilled mine 20 X 4 X 50. The Hammer Scorpion Low Flare is an excellent lower differential option. This is the ball for you if you want a smooth and predictable shape. The LED 3.0 Low Flare core and Semtex Hybrid cover provide outstanding control and allow me to stay further right longer. The Scorpion Low Flare will be a staple in my tournament bag for years to come!

    Scorpion Low Flare

There was no doubt for me that I was going to love this ball. Low diff symmetrical for that smooth controllable motion. I find it to be the perfect fit between the Envy Tour Solid and Purple reactive. It’s the first ball out of my bag to get a read on just what the lanes are doing and most times it’s all I end up throwing

    Hammer Scorpion Low Flare

Posted by Bob Newman on Feb 7th 2024

Control. We're not talking skid/flip. We're talking about control. We're not talking huge early hook, we're talking about control. The Hammer Scorpion Low Flare is a first ball out of the bag type of piece. You'll want to use this on fresh oil and especially on oil difficult patterns. This is a ball that you will be able to keep in front of you and have a very controllable motion to and thru the pins. It very much reminds me of the original Web Tour that came out several years ago. It has enough motion that it will be good on house shots as well as hard shots. Great all-around ball.
