All doubles teams bowl both days:
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11TH 1:00 PM AT WILDLIFE LANES, 1000 WILDLIFE LODGE RD, LOWER BURRELL
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12TH AT NESBIT’S LANES, 3501 LEECHBURG RD, PLUM
Format:
Youth bowlers only. Limit 48 teams. Handicap is 90% of 440; using highest average in 2022-23 - minimum 15 games. All teams bowl scratch and handicap; teams will earn prizes in highest placing category, but not both.
If a team finishes in equal standing in both divisions, they will earn the scratch prize.
All teams bowl 5 full games on Saturday at Wildlife and 10 baker games on Sunday at Nesbit’s.
For the baker games, each team member will alternate starting position.
One bowler stays on left lane and other bowler stays on right lane for all 10 games.
15 game total determines final standings.
Entry Fee: $130 per team advance entry, $140 walk-in
Scholarship Prizes:
One in six teams in scratch and in handicap will earn scholarships.
JUNIOR GOLD & SCHOLARSHIP EXTRAS:
Junior Gold Qualifying: $25 for U12, $30 for U15 & U18 – all 5 singles games
Singles Brackets: $3 each – scratch & handicap 90% of 220* – games 2-3-4
Singles High Game: $10 – covers both scratch & handicap 90% of 220* (awarded each game) Baker High Game: $10 – covers both scratch & handicap 90% of 440* (awarded each game)

Basic Rules: All bowlers must physically check themselves in. Check-in opens at 12:00 Noon on Saturday 11/11/23 at Wildlife Lanes. Tournament management will announce when to be at Nesbit’s Lanes on 11/12/23. Altering the surface of a bowling ball is only allowed during practice time; no alterations may take place during competition. Scholarship fees returned 100% and deposited into SMART account #8717. If an advance entry cancels after 11/7, or is a no-show, entry fee will be credited to a 2023 or 2024 JuniorBowling.com event. USBC rules apply. Tournament director’s decisions are final.
Averages & Handicaps: Bowlers will use highest 2022-2023 average (15 games or more in a USBC-certified league, verified on bowl.com). Failure to provide correct average results in no handicap. If no 2022-2023 or current 15-game average is available, please e-mail tournament director in advance. Handicap base may be raised if any team’s entering average in more than 440.
*Bracket average bases may be raised if averages are higher than 220 & 440.
Junior Gold: A 2024 Junior Gold qualifier will be offered. Qualifying fee is $25 for U12, $30 for U15 & U18. Bowlers must have a 2023-24 USBC membership and a 2023-24 Junior Gold membership in order to qualify. The scratch scores from Saturday’s games are used to determine the qualifier winner(s). Ties broken by higher last game. For the qualifier to be held, at least four bowlers must participate in the qualifier. Tournament director will announce how many bowlers will advance from the qualifier.
Advance Entries: Advance entries are only accepted through JuniorBowling.com. Nesbit’s Lanes and Wildlife Lanes are not responsible for accepting and collecting entries.
